Nick Meffin

APA Titled Sports, Exercise & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Knee and Lowerlimb Expert Physio

Nick combines evidence-based medicine in combination with clinical art. He has completed two Post Graduate Masters in Physiotherapy and is interested in the specialist physiotherapist pathway. Nick uses a hands on approach in combination with exercise based medicine. This includes shockwave therapy, dry needling, manipulation and soft tissue mobilisation. He is passionate about knee injuries, especially post operative ligament repairs. Nick is hoping to be part of the world leading trial into Cross Bracing to help heal ACL’s injuries, including screening for who maybe appropriate for this and who needs to go directly to surgery. He is very pleased help the Lilydale community in high end lower limb rehabilitation.


Laura Parlby

Laura is currnetly only consulting @ Healesville and Heathmont clinics

Laura has greater than 10 years’ of physiotherapy experience in private practices in both Croydon and Healesville, she now brings her experience in providing high quality physio to Lilydale.

She has extended her skills with a number of post graduate courses including dry needling, kinesiotaping, and vestibular/vertigo treatment and incorporates these in a holistic treatment approach. Her interests in treating sports injuries for acute management and rehabilitation to prevent recurrences offers her clients long term success. Laura's love for treating injuries and rehabilitation arose from personal injuries through a 12 year career of competitive gymnastics. This experience helps keep patients on the court, field, pitch or what ever sport it may be .


Megan Kertes

Physiotherapist

Graduating from Melbourne University, Megan has over 12 years of experience in private practice and is excited to provide high quality physio in Lilydale, treating a vast range of conditions. She has a keen interest in acute injuries and women's health, and enjoys working with children right up to the elderly.

Megan enjoys incorporating treatment of the "whole patient" into her work through use of the biopsychosocial model, and uses a wide range of hands-on techniques, dry needling and exercise prescription to optimise performance and results.


Rachael Maher

Women’s Health Physiotherapist & Clinical Exercise Classes

Rachael’s passion area is Women’s Health, and she enjoys empowering women to take control of their health and wellbeing, in an evidence-based and person-focused way. Rachael is currently studying her Masters in Physiotherapy (Pelvic Health) at the University of Melbourne, and has post-graduate qualifications in women's health, pre & postnatal, and pelvic floor. Rachael is keen to support the mothers of Lilydale with high quality women’s and pelvic health.

Particularly, Rachael loves to help with pre & post-natal niggles, continence, & hip and lower back pain.


Rebecca Pizzey

Physiotherapist and Clinical Exercise Classes

Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University and has a strong passion for treating sports injuries, shaped by her background as a professional basketball player. She enjoys working with people across all age groups, from children to older adults, and is dedicated to helping her patients reach their individual goals.

Drawing on her own experience as an elite athlete, Rebecca has a deep, practical understanding of the physical and psychological demands of high-level sport. She is particularly passionate about supporting local athletes in managing, recovering from injuries and getting them back to doing what they love. Her journey into physiotherapy was inspired by her own need to care for her body throughout her sporting career, including winning a Gold Medal at the FIBA U17 World Championships while managing stress fractures and an unstable shoulder. 

Some of Rebecca’s notable sporting achievements include:

  • Scholarship holder at the Australian Institute of Sport Centre of Excellence (2016–2017)

  • Gold medallist at the FIBA U17 World Championship with the U17 Australian Team 

  • Women's National Basketball League (2017–2024), representing the Dandenong Rangers, Southside Flyers, Sydney Flames, and Canberra Capitals

  • WNBL Champion with the Southside Flyers in 2020

  • Tauihi Basketball League in New Zealand with the Southern Hoiho (2025)

  • Current NBL1 Women’s captain for the Eltham Wildcats 

  • Representing the New Zealand Women's National Basketball Team, including campaigns at the Asia Cup (Shenzhen 2025) and World Cup Qualifiers (Puerto Rico 2026)


Cameron Brown

Physiotherapist and Clinical Exercise Classes

Cameron graduated Physiotherapy with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2009.

With extensive experience in musculoskeletal therapy, he has provided quality care to clients for well over a decade in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

He has a particular interest in upper limb conditions although is skilled and capable of dealing with all your injury and rehabilitation needs. As an ex baseballer, he has a good understanding of the demands on the throwing athlete, swimmers and volleyballers.

Cam has completed “GLAD Training” (Good Life with Osteo Arthritis) a world-renowned education and exercise program developed for people with hip or knee Osteo Arthritis symptoms. The program has strong evidence supporting its effect on reducing symptoms and improving function.


Ben Ursich

Physiotherapist and Clinical Exercise Classes

Ben is a physiotherapist passionate about enabling individuals to maximise their function regardless of their current ability.

Ben completed his studies at La Trobe University, having completed a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Exercise Science before graduating with a Masters of Physiotherapy Practice. 

Prior to this, Ben spent time in the USA, playing College Basketball on a scholarship at Augusta University whilst simultaneously studying Kinesiology & Human Movement. Outside of work, you could catch Ben playing semi-professional basketball for the Kilsyth Cobras in the NBL1 competition.

Through the combination of professional and lived experience, Ben implements his knowledge of injury management, exercise, and manual therapy when enabling people to achieve a full recovery. 

Ben enjoys meeting and working with people from all walks of life and has experience with clientele including adolescents, musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, NDIS clients including MS / Parkinson's Disease / Stroke rehab, and enjoys getting to know people in pilates and strength classes. 


Ryan Brook

Exercise Physiologist

Ryan is passionate about seeing his clients reach their health and fitness goals through functional, individualised evidence-based exercise practice. He completed his Masters of Exercise Physiology at Deakin University after completing his Undergraduate degree in Exercise & Sports Science at ACU in 2020.

Ryan now works as an accredited Exercise Physiologist with a range of client populations.

Ryan has had extensive experience working in clinics and gyms with the general population, NDIS clients, athletes, elderly clients, youth and pre-hab/post-rehab. Ryan enjoys connecting with clients from all walks of life and has a special interest in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation


Hayley McIntyre

Physiotherapist and Clinical Exercise Classes

Hayley completed her Bachelor in Exercise Science at La Trobe University before going on to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University. She brings a strong passion for treating sports-related injuries, particularly lower limb and running-related injuries. Hayley prides herself on combining hands-on treatment with targeted exercise therapy to address both the symptoms and the underlying cause of injury.

Hayley has further extended her expertise through training in dry needling, Clinical Pilates, athletic hip and groin pain, advanced lumbo-pelvic dysfunction, and lower limb tendon pathologies. She is also the Head Trainer at North Ringwood Football Club, where she provides on-field care and rehabilitation support to her players.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll most likely find Hayley running the trails of the Yarra Valley, at the footy, walking her dog Hugo or catching up with friends for coffee
